Our Farm

Roosterfoot Farm LLC is a small, family-run farm in Dade County, Missouri. We're not a large commercial operation — we're a family that loves growing good food, baking from scratch, and caring for animals. Because we're small, everything we offer is limited and made with attention, and we sell directly to our neighbors and community.

Why “Roosterfoot”?

Anyone who keeps chickens knows the feeling: you turn around, and there’s a rooster right under your feet. On our farm, there’s usually a rooster underfoot. The name Roosterfoot is simply a play on that — our own little twist on “underfoot.”

What We Do

We keep a flock of laying hens for farm-fresh eggs, bake homemade breads and treats in our own kitchen under the Missouri Cottage Food Law, and hatch and raise our own Black Australorp chickens. Our offerings change with the seasons and with what the farm can support, so the best way to know what's available is to reach out.

How We Sell

Because we're a small operation, our supply of eggs, baked goods, and animals is limited. We sell directly from the farm to neighbors, friends, and regular customers in Dade County and the neighboring counties of Barton, Cedar, Greene, Jasper, Lawrence, and Polk. When new products or animals become available, we announce them here on the website.
